MAGNIFICATION CONTROLS


The magnification of some of these 
biomicroscopes is changed by moving 
the lever just below and between the 
eyepieces.  It has only two magnification 
choices.  Usually you would start your 
examination with a low setting. Two 
different eyepieces (10X and 16X) can 
be used to change the magnification.  
With the 10X eyepieces 10X and 16X 
magnifications are possible.  With the 
16X eyepieces 16X and 25.6X is obtained.

Other instruments of this design type have 
the more typical multiple magnification 
settings.
